ABORTION: EMOTIONAL AND PHYSICAL CONSEQUENCES

The basic concept of abortion is, to kill to an innocent human being’s inalienable right to live. Abortion is murder; it is also an intentional termination of a pregnancy without justification. On the other hand, it is a big decision that the women make in their lives. Abortion not only has physical effects also has physiological effects and can traumatize their lives forever. Additionally, in some countries laws exist, that protected abortion. For example in the United States, abortion is legal, but the regulations change according to state.
A post-traumatic stress is very common and differs from woman to woman. Abortion frequently causes intense emotional and psychological complications. Emotional problem, such as, regret, anger, quilting feelings, shame, loneliness or isolation, insomnia or nightmares, suicidal thoughts, eating disorders, depression, anxiety following an abortion. Women with religious beliefs, moral or ethical position that conflict with abortion. Statistics show that twenty percent of the women who had abortions later attempt suicide. Drug and alcohol increase four times, ninety-eight percent of women repented having had an abortion. Seventy-two percent of women said their abortion did not improve their life, twenty percent of women reported a nervous breakdown, and ten percent were hospitalize for psychiatric care. Of the two hundred and sixty women surveyed, over sixty percent said their abortion made their life worse.
Additionally, an abortion often comes with several physical complications, such as, blood loss, infection, and internal and external hemorrhage. There could also be anesthesia complication which could sometimes cause death.  According to the Journal of the National Cancer Institute, new studies have shown that abortions increase the risk of breast cancer by fifty percent. This is due to the fact that by abruptly terminating pregnancy interrupts the natural growth process of breasts. Abortion could also create complications in future pregnancies, such as, premature births, ectopic pregnancies, sterility, and permanent damage to the cervix.
In the United States the abortion is legal. Abortion is one hundred percent confidential, unless the patient is under eighteen. The Constitution said “It allows a woman to choose her destiny and prevents unwanted children.”  The Supreme Court established in 1973 that the right to have an abortion is protected by the U.S. Constitution. Abortion is legal up to 22 weeks and in some states is up to 16 weeks. President Obama’s executive order will not protect the unborn. The statistics show, the number of abortions per year in a world is approximately 42 million and 115,000 per day. Only in the United States, the number of abortions per year is 1.3 million and 3,700 per day.
As I mentioned, abortion is the act of taking human life. I think no civilized society could permit this kind of act. Abortion is a violation to the civil right of a human, because for me a fetus becomes a living human from the moment of conception. If the mother could see an ultrasound they will see an embryo at the presence of external members as well as internal organs. Women could see a living child living inside them. We live in a free society without values or ethics. Although we have many means of contraception, women have sex without responsibility and without considering the consequences of their actions. Why a person who kills another human being is imprisoned and why abortion is not considered a crime and no one goes to jail for these murders.
