Battle of the Cowhed

BATTLE OF THE COWSHED

            By the late summer the news of what happened on Mr. Jones’ farm had to spread half of country. Snowball and Napoleon had sent every day the pigeons with the information about the story of the Rebellion and the song of “Beasts of England.” While Mr. Jones was telling everybody about injustice he had suffered, some of his neighbored were sympathized with him, but the others were happy because he lost his fortune and that give them advantage. Furthermore farmers called Mr. Pinchfield and Mr. Fredericktried were working  to prevent this rebellion in their own farms and convinced the animals this rebellion that bring them negative effects, as that the animals practiced cannibalism, tortured one another, etc. However when farmers listened the song “Beasts of England”, they secretly trembled. In the early in October Mr. Jones and his men, with 6 more others were heading to Animal Farmer. They were carrying sticks, except Mr. Jones, who was carrying a gun and tried to recapture of the farm. After a hard battle when Mr. Jones almost won this battle, the animals were excitement, because they could defeat the enemy. After sung the “Beasts of England”, they gave solemn funeral to the sheep, who death in the battle. Snowball emphasized all animals the need to fight hard and die for Animal Farm. Also the animal created a military decoration “Animal Hero First Class” which was given to Snowball and Boxer. The second called “Animal Hero, Second Class” was given posthumously on the dead sheep. Each October 12th was the anniversary of the Rebellion called “Battle of the Cowshed.
